My team is the Big Six. We came together by pure accident, but the results have been pleasing. The tone was set the first time we came together outside of class to work on our project: we completed our task in under an hour, even while chatting with each other about life and generally unrelated things. If there is one word that could summarize our team, it would be "efficient."
We did experience a bump in the road when the inventors of the patent we wanted to work on, ORAM, did not respond to our emails. They still have not responded to our emails. The inventors have published several articles on the computational logic behind their invention, and my team has decided to do additional research to make up for the lack of responses. I highly appreciate this show of initiative, as I was worried that I drove our team into a corner by suggesting we go after the ORAM patent. As the sole non-engineer person in our team and someone with sales experience, it was easy for me to convince them to select the patent.
There is very little team drama involved. Perhaps the best display of our teamwork thus far has been in the Rejection Challenge, which we won. We pooled together our strengths and created a strategy that ultimately paid off.
